Hello! Jason here. I want to personally thank you for taking an interest in my home studio. I started Acoustic Highway in March of 2014. While I have had no formal education in audio engineering, I have spent literally thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours in building the studio and investing in an education from those who do have such degrees and are professionals in this arena. Many late nights and early mornings later (and every hour in between), and I have a developed an understanding and a workflow to manage an audio project from start to finish; and my education continues. I plan to never stop learning, implementing, and practicing new concepts, techniques, and methods, that will enable me to become more capable and skillful in crafting quality mixes. Audio production is a science and an art, and I enjoy exploring and cultivating my understanding of both aspects. I am a relatively small outfit with a big vision for the future. I currently work a full-time job but am still able to invest at several hours a week in the studio. I am also in a band, which allows me to approach audio production not only from an engineering standpoint, but also from the perspective of a musician and artist. I am the sole proprietor and as of now the only operator here at Acoustic Highway, but I would love to grow to the point one day of bringing more people into the “mix.” :D Pun intended. Thank you again for visiting and hope to see you inside the studio soon!
Studio Update: From May through July 2017, Acoustic Highway underwent a complete renovation and upgrade. See photos below to follow the journey.
